I find that the birds say what ever interests them. Most of the talking that 
Romeo and Beau do is what they hear in the course of everyday living. I 
tried a recording with Romeo and he never learned a SINGLE word or phase. He 
says "hello" to his soft food dish every morning! Beau never heard "Pooooped 
on the flooooor" on a tape.
Is it the telephone? answering machine? microwave? dog barking? incubator 
alarm? OR is it Romeo or Beau? Who the heck knows! I have reached the point 
that I just walk to the appropriate devise with a resigned sigh!
