That was on RTKBA, wasn't it?  I monitor that echo but don't
participate as much as I do in this one.  I agree with the
observation as do several others here including one of our
moderators.  He's made a similar point before, in other
discussions.  The community of veterans has quite a body of
experience with "field expedients."
