    Well batten down the hatches kiddo' !!  We just got another terrible 
winter blast.  It started off with ice pelting the windows at 0430, and kep 
it up until 1000, then changed to snow.  I offered to let others go home 
first. One lady had 60 miles to go, and the other was a young girl with not a 
lot of driving experience.  The 4X4 did somewhat better, but not much on the 
ice.  I came home off of the main drag, and took the country roads to get 
most of the way home without much problem.  Just have to remeber not to look 
at the cows when I get on the country roads .  I was gazing one way, and 
hit a snow drift and started skidding, then it turned into a slide, and 
finally recovered it, just before going to the ditch.  Thank God that the 
nearest oncoming car was still 1/4 mile away....I feel kinda' stupid thinking 
about it now.
