This sort of "treatment?" happens everywhere as far as I can see.  The
horror stories about nursing homes never seem to cease.  It's simply
neglect in a lot of instances where EMS is called where had the proper
care been initially given, the pt. would never had needed us.  If
reading the charts, and following directions is too much for "some" of
these people they have no business being in the health/medical field.
