You really didn't have to re-install, you know.  You should simply have
either opened the Selective Install utility in the System Setup folder, and
checked the list of supported CD-ROMs, or even better, viewed the contents
of the text file, CDROM.TBL in the \OS2\INSTALL directory.  |-)
