That's certainly possible.

None of those apply....the same drive that came in the box as drive c is
drive c now (A rose is a rose.>

Stilll hunting for the passport....I just picked up another usb thumb
drive...mayhaps I can experiment with that and see if getting stuff to
fat32 will solve the problem.
