KG>I am using a script to make mail runs. I have a high number of recalls
KG>set, so that if the phone is busy, it delays then tries again.
KG>My problem is that a certain point the script stops and says "too many
KG>whens". This happens after several busy signals and attempts.
Since the script isn't executed until a connection is established, I'll
assume that your error message occurs the first time you connect to one
of the systems you're calling.
If you have a retry loop in your script that uses WHEN string1 string2
inside the loop. Each time the loop re-executes these WHEN statements are
processed again and "build up" until to many WHENs have been issued.
You can prevent this by issuing a WHEN statement without any strings to
clear *all* active WHEN statements. So, at the top of your loop, clear
all WHENs and then issue any WHEN statements needed inside the loop.
Hope this is correct and makes since.
