Hello David!
-> AJ> Don't get mad with me, as I told you I'm very new to OS/2. AJ> :)
->
-> I didn't get mad... had I been mad I would have simply told you to
-> RTFM.
Manual, which manual? You call manual that brochure that comes with
OS/2 Warp 4?? :)
-> One of the big problems with any tech manual is the poor quality of
-> the index.
Agreed.
-> Yes.. it is the only FTP client I use (except the occasional web
-> explorer download). It will automaticly log me into the last
-> directory I was at on any site I have been to before. I like it alot.
I've already installed NcFTP and I'm using it. So far the tests have
gone very well, I believe that I'm going to adopt it for my FTP
transfers.
-> So configure FiFTP to NOT delete some files, make a second config for
-> your personal files (those that you will delete). It sounds like
-> FiFTP will in fact do what you need to do. Ask for assistance in the
-> FiFTP echo/mailing list or email me privately with specific
-> questions.
I tried that but run into some problems when accessing the RIME FTP
site, for some reason the connections are droped from the remote site. I
believe that has something to do with the writing of the busy flag
files. I'm going to check this more carefully and if I need some help
I'll send you and e-mail or I'll ask in the FiFTP echo.
Thank you again for your help.
Greetings,
