* Copied (from: R13SYSOP) by Roy J. Tellason using timEd 1.10.y2k. Any of you guys have suggestions as to how I might better my connectivity? I'm running this box (still!) on dos/dv, and the next screen over is a linux box which is 'net-connected (finally!), but in order for me to do anything with that I'd need to _manually_ move stuff back and forth. Shut down the bbs, load a packet driver, fire up ftp, and transfer the files in either direction. That assumes of course that there's some easy way I can arrange to do something with them on the 'net side of things... Anybody have any ideas on this? I've been watching with much interest the progress of porting Maximus to linux. It's not there yet. If and when it does get there, then it becomes a real simple matter to deal with all this stuff. In the meantime it's a bit of a PITA to even consider... ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 3613/1275 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
