I was test driveing a PowerSpec 1531 (AMD Athron 64 2800+ Linspire OS v 4.5) at the local MicroCenter today but when we tried to install a LibertyTree Legacy v.5 genealogy program I use on my Win98se and XP-Home, it wasn't seen. (I gather from this, linspire is not Michael's WINE and can't run windose programs afterall 8-(. Is there an issue of Legacy that is compatible with linux such as my SuSE 9.0 and/or linspire? Has any one used GRAMPS that can say if it is as useful as Legacy and would GRAMPS accept GEDCOMs made by Legacy?
