Yeah, I'd forgotten that. The different fast reverse during the
play cycle would need a reversable motor for the capstan.

When you think how cheap it would be to make an integrated
display with (say) 50 or 100 subminiature LEDs, it is surprising
that most times they stop at 5 LEDs.
