Student models, comparable to the Korean Squiers. They're touted as being
"multipiece", which I interperet as being plywood. Though I don't know this
for a fact, the available finishes lead me to believe that it is true... the
clear (reddish) finished SG is bursted with a solid color on the edges. A
similar finish is used on all sunburst plywood Strat copy bodies. The
sunburst cuts at an angle across the elbow cutaway, while the width of the
bursted border is even on solid wood bodies.
