SC> Can anyone help me? My uncle, who is helping find my
SC> birthfather wants us to take a ride to Kent, OH where we are
SC> almost sure he lives from the address we got from the Internet by
SC> way of a friend of mine. He says we can ride past his house and
SC> if he is out stop to talk to him. I don't know if this would be a
SC> good idea or not. Our main plan is to visit the churches there
SC> and ask if he belongs to any of them and talk to a priest or
SC> minister first.
Don't back your birthfather into any corners!
Drive past the house, yes; but do not intrude. Indeed, it would be better
if he didn't know anyone was searching, for a bit.
Think about it: what would you two say: "I'm looking for the guy who
impregnated my mother, but who doesn't know it. Are you the one?"
You're right: the idea of you must be revealed gradually.
I think I like the idea of talking with the clergy.
... Neither of my mothers were pregnant.
