Nobody was ever going to defund the police. That is a silly talking point at best.

Rupublicans wanted to (and maybe still do) defund the DOJ, FBI and other critical goverment offices because of "lawfare" and "weaponization". More silly talking points.

Although Donald Trump will not face trial for his crimes, he will never be declared guily or innocent, Jack Smith's files will be made public. Everyone will be able to see what Donald Trump did and what evidence there is of it and what role the white house had in his indictments.
