It really doesn't matter who did what in the long run. What matters for the
Turks is the massuve hole in their budget.
It was the same with the Bulgarians. They got hit on both sides during the
90'es. 2 of their biggest export markets were Iraq & their neighbor
Yugoslavia. Also the Danube was blocked & most roads to Western Europe
ran through Yugoslavia.
