I'm going to quit answering questions on the list here. For some =
strange reason, it is taking my posts an hour and a half to bounce back =
to me, and by then the questioner has either given up, or someone else =
has answered, hi. I'll quit wasting bandwidth!!!

Yes, you are correct, David. That heat sink is so massive, that for =
SSB, it is probably a little overkill. I do hope it is pulling air out, =
not blowing it back in though. If someone has reversed it, thinking it =
would be better, you might turn it around so it pulls air out of the =
cabinet before you start transmitting with it again.

Subject: [drakelist] TR7-A Cooling Fan
I use my TR7-A mostly for short-wave listening, so I've unplugged =
the cooling fan to cut down on the dirt that might be drawn into the =
radio. Am I correct in assuming that this fan is only required if I'm =
transmitting? Any advice would be appreciated.......73, David
