Hello Steve,

>LL>Seems like global warming is getting the best of your system. :)

>SA>It's getting the best of me - Adelaide now holds the Oz capital city
>SA>record for the longest run of days above 35C, & looks like it will
>SA>continue until next Tuesday, so I'm not touching this system until
>SA>it cools down.

>LL>Would you rather have tornadoes?

SA>We rarely get them, & not the devastating US type ones, but there
SA>are cyclones in the tropics (hurricane).

You do realize what causes tornadoes. Driving on the right side
of the road. When two cars pass each other, one from the north,
the other from the south, each driver driving on their right side,
a mini-tornado is formed. The mini-tornado then strengthens and
becomes a big tornado. And then the massive destruction begins.

Australians are smart, having learned from American drivers.
Instead of driving north-south, Australians drive east-west.
And always on the proper side of the road. Except when drunk.

>LL>The other night, during a basketball game at the Atlanta dome, a
>LL>tornado touched down and tore off parts of the roof. Fans
>LL>scattered, leaving the dome as fast as they could. The organizers
>LL>had to move the other games to another arena, the dome having
>LL>holes in it and being deemed unsafe.

SA>I think that was on the news, with the roof flapping around like
SA>paper, & workers running for their lives when they realsed the
SA>roof was blowing off.

Being from Louisiana, I am more concerned about hurricanes rather
than tornadoes. Especially since 2005, when we were hit by three
hurricanes - Hurricane Cindy, Hurricane Katrina, and Hurricane Rita.
This year the same conditions as in 2005 are present. And I just
can't wait for the next Big One to come this way...

>LL>Basically, there are two views of history -

>LL>The Accidental View - events happen by accident rather than by
>LL>design. The Conspiratorial View - events happen by design, or
>LL>unknown reasons.

>LL>Do these views reflect religion, as well as politics? Is the rise
>LL>of the Antichrist an accident? Or is it something by design?

>LL>The Roman government "washed its hands" after finding Jesus
>LL>innocent of all charges. Pilate then turned Jesus over to an angry
>LL>mob, which executed Him.

>LL>If the Roman government represents a republic, and the angry mob
>LL>represents democracy, then how would a modern world react to the
>LL>second coming of what appears to be the Christ?

>LL>Maybe we will find out soon. In 2012. The Coming of Nibiru.

SA>Don't know about Nibiru, but conditions for the emergence of Antichrist
SA>appear to be reaching a climax, with Islam making its move for global
SA>caliphate (without Israel), and the West bending over backwards to do
SA>nothing to stop it ...

The Bush administration seems to have been trying to set itself
up for a self-fulfilling prophecy - the second coming of Christ.
IOW, bringing about certain conditions would help hasten the
return of Christ. The problem with that view is, Antichrist will
appear on the world's stage in God's time. Not man's time. And
so too will it be when Christ (and all His angels) returns.
