AT&T has never told me that.  It doesn't mean they don't because they
withhold info from their customers they feel is on a need to know basis and
they automatically assume we don't.

They are already keenly aware how unhappy I am with their service.  When
they decided to go with Yahoo (however they did it), that made me very
unhappy. The switchover came, I think, over a weekend when there was zero
email service.  I had to use Gmail.
