Anyone can talk to their guides. Many people do that during their
sleep. If you want to then just say that you want to talk to them just
before you go to sleep. You probably will have no "conscious" recall
of what was said when you wake up however.

If you want to do the above "consciously" then find yourself a
competent teacher. Try looking through some "New Age" magazines 
and or try ringing your local Spiritualist group/church. Do this alone
and you can end up channelling negative entities and/or being
possessed by them.
