Just out of interest...

Imagine OSX was released to run on other machines (esp other laptops).

How many takers & what sort of major PC laptop comps would preload with it?

We've now all seen vista (it reminds me in a striking way of....not of OSX
but of KDE.....but I'll let that slide).

Not much woohooing from the masses.

A laptop has a nice sealed existence with known hardware & thus drivers etc.

everything else is external over usb etc any way....so change from a mac.

I reckon Apple should put in some serious effort to making OpenOffice run well on it.
