subject: Elitism?

Hello Ross!

20 Apr 08 16:58, you wrote to me:

 >>> I keep hearing about elitism, in the campaign right now.
 >>> Would you say about a candidate, who owns eight houses, and has a
 >>> bank portfolio in the hundreds of millions of dollars? Would that
 >>> be considered elitist?

 >> Not the same thing.

 RS> Bull.

You see, I didnt say a single thing negative to you or about you and your
first instinct is to up the volume, what are you retaliating here for, just
curious?

 >> An elitist in this context is one whom looks down on the electorate
 >> and stereotypes them based on their traits..

RS> You mean like how conservative Hugh Hewitt described Harvard graduates
RS> as "elitist," even though he *HIMSELF* is a Harvard graduate?

Diversion, strawman??

Non-sequitur

Not good enough for you, how about two wrongs dont make a right???

 >> Keep in mind that some of whom Obama referred to where those whom
 >> would have voted for either him or Hillary.

 RS> Such as...?

I have all of their names in a PDF file, let me dig it up, just got back
from PA conducting the poll.

Statistically speaking, he stereotyped the working class, labor more to the
point, some of them were his own voters, if they werent, his stereotype
would have been more specific.

Unless you were born yesterday, there are Democrats whom own guns, go to
Church and have employment issues.

 >> After the 2004 Election, some liberals tried to rationalize the
 >> outcome by analyzing the red states and saying that only dumb
 >> uneducated bible thumping trailer trash voted against Kerry.

RS> The 2004 elections were mostly decided by the knuckledrag contingents
RS> who believed the Slime Boat Liars For Bush, and Rove's campaign
RS> descriptions of Kerry as "soft on terror."

When the liberals were digging up their statistics, they failed to mention
that Kerry got the bulk of High School dropouts..

Kerry didnt lose the election based on the swift boat affair.

 >> That my friend is elitism, feel free to include individual wealth if
 >> you want, but we havent had any poverty stricken Presidents in a long
 >> time.

RS> Yet the right-wing continues to falsely describe Obama as
"elitist,"
 RS> based on nothing.

Obama is not as poor and deprived as he paints himself to be.

 RS> Why?
RS> Like I said, they are scared shitless of him.

Good grief, this mudslinging takes place all of the time, and frankly most
of the negative shit that has been said about bam bam has come from either
his own mouth or Hillary, in contrast, McCain hasnt said hardly anything,
which we both know will change after the conventions.
