Greetings again, all.
The V.O.I.C.E. IRC meeting schedule for June, 1998 is as follows:
On Monday June 1 the Virtual OS/2 International Consumer Education,
your VOICE in the OS/2 community, will hold a general meeting which is
open to all OS/2 users and anyone else interested in OS/2. The session
will be held in the #VOICE channel on the WEBBnet IRC network and will
begin at 8pm US Eastern daylight-saving time (what is that, about
midnight GMT?). For a list of current WEBBnet IRC servers please refer
to http://www.suntrix.com/ibbs/server.html -- if you're unfamiliar with
IRC, visit Judy's Warped World's IRC Clients page
(http://www.gt-online.com/~bri/irc_clients.html).
On Monday June 15 we will hold a SpeakUp session on REXX programming.
Guest speakers will include Wayne Swanson of Pillarsoft
(http://www.fm-net.com/pillarsoft/), Dirk Terrell (author of HTML
Wizard), and Jeff Teunissen (author of the DMI script for IRC clients).
The session will again be held in the #VOICE channel on the WEBBnet
IRC network and will begin at 8pm US Eastern daylight-saving time and
will again be open to all OS/2 users (or anyone interested in OS/2),
though plans are still underway to make the SpeakUp sessions by
V.O.I.C.E. membership only at some point in the not-too-distant future.
Please respond to freiheit@tstonramp.com for more information or better
yet check out our web site for information on IRC, WEBBnet and VOICE
meetings - http://www.os2voice.org/meetinginfo.html
V.O.I.C.E. is a non-profit, virtual OS/2 user group promoting OS/2 use
