I'm heading to Germany in a couple of weeks, for the first time in over 10
years. Naturally my older Canadian mobile phone won't work over there, not
being GSM enabled. So I'm thinking about renting.

I briefly looked at renting in US/Canada, but the roaming charges are
incredible - two to three dollars a minute. Is it easy to rent at European
airports - would that be cheaper? - I'll be arriving in Frankfurt.
