 Very, from the sound of it.  V.Fast -as it applies to modem protocols-
 is practically a four-letter word around here.  Not something I would
 use for an unrelated add-on protocol  -which is probably why I've never
 heard of it.  :)

 I played with HSlink and the Z-modem protocol from Cutting Edge... but
 the problem was, none of the callers had any use or need for them.
 And there was the factor of trying to explain why they were useful, and
 committing to walk each user through setup for their particular comm
 program.
 Way too much labor for no real benefit, IMO.  Now, if something had
 turned out to be _twice_ the speed of Z-modem...
