Don't you love it... at least your ISP listened... when we determined that
our modem was outdated and causing ridiculous problems with bandwidth,
etc., our isp's Tech dept. didn't want to hear about it. We knew it was the
modem that was over 5 years old... so I finally talked to our local tech
representative who lives here in Windsor (The main office is in Madison
Wisconsin and we're in Windsor NY ) and she got us a new modem.
 They wanted us to apply a patch that they couldn't guararantee would work
... "it could kill the modem you have, but that doesn't happen that
often" hahahahaha... I can just see it now if I'd listened to them. 
You know, they're so technically savy
