subject: Figured it out - but need solution to get working again.

Did some more digging in the *.MSG areas for Dovenet to see what might be
going on. Here is what is going on:

1) When I did the AREAFIX and %RESCAN, each area in Dovenet sent all the
messages for each area - up to where there was a gap in the *.MSG
numbering. For instance it downloaded 9550 in Dove-Gen. There is no
9551.MSG - it jumps to 9552.MSG for whatever reason.

Same with the other areas in Dovenet. The %RESCAN stopped before a missing
*.MSG number and never got past that.

It seems that due to that fact, no new messages are going to Mystic because
it is still waiting for the missing message to get past that point. It is
like the counter is off for the node since I did that %RESCAN.

Probably wouldn't have been an issue if I never did the %RESCAN and just
started with new messages to each area.

Is there a way to force each of the areas to jump to the latest *.MSG in
each area to at least get new messages flowing in?

I have tried AREAFIX to remove the groups and add them back in again, but
the same thing is happening. There are many missing *.MSG files in each
group, so it doesn't appear to be an anonomly.

Any idea on what I can try to at least get these areas tossing with the
latest *.MSG number or some other way to clear and fix it?

Thanks!

- Mark
