Yes, you can create games and stuff with C++. That's the language of
choice with a lot of programmers in the game field. As for hacking,
C++ is a mid-level language. That means you can get closer to the
hardware than with a high-level language. If you want to look at
files, C++ has a rich selection of conversions to display data in
different ways. If that helps you hack better, then fine. But that is
not what 'C' is for. 'C' is for more effient (faster) programs, and
that makes coding a little more cryptic at first glance.
