The OSes that evolved on the PC platform are the ones that fail to =
follow
the standard, which was set long before it came along. The *ix =
derivatives
follow the standard of the pre-PC *ix(en) that they evolved from. As =
such,
the PC platform is just another of the multiplatform hosts for *ix(en) =

should be treated the same.
