Our Pug does this on the bed too.. Then he seems to find the small of your 
back and ram his body, shoulder first, into the small of your back. Kinda like
a Fullback throwing a nasty block on you.. Oh My Kidneys 

Thankfully the Newf doesn't get on the bed. 8-) 3 circles by him and we're all
goners.
