No I noticed that. I have to say that I found her position wholely untenable, 
and in fact very silly.

Having just received a post from Gail and a comment (as you'll have noticed) 
from Dale, assuring me that I'll be welcomed back, I will.

I do sympathise with Dale's position, as his Netmails just don't get through 
here, goodness only knows why. So he is obliged to moderate publicly where he 
would obviously prefer to do so privately. However, his comments about trying 
to have the last word, irritated me as I felt them to be inaccurate. As 
you'll have seen, I don't normally react badly to being moderated. Anyway, 
nuff said on all this which is WAY off topic. I suppose I had better find you 
another ontopicizer (I DO like the expression).

Thanks very much. Have you tried this? I have seen similar recipes, but felt 
uninspired - however, if you recommend it, I'll have a go. (What confidence I

Sounds like what the Antillais call "Ti-punch". Very popular in all the 
French West Indies. From the look of it I'd say Feijoada came from one of the 
Spanish Islands. If I were still feeling energetic I'd go look in one of my 
Caribbean cook books to see if I can find it...
