CT> Sir, I have enjoyed the correspondence, but I still maintain that when
CT> a state's constitution says that Public land shall be used by all
CT> freely, FREE means FREE, that's all that I'm saying.
Apparently your state constitution has provisions to modify or amend it.
Just like all good Constitutions.
CT> Federal Constitution says "shall be secure in their possessions" this
CT> means that we should have control over our possessions (not some one
CT> else).
Well, I guess you must live in another country because I have those rights.
Short of atomic bombs I can own (and control) just about anything I want.
And I usually try and "control" those possesions in a many that doesn't
disturb my neighbors and complies with the laws (even though I may disagree
with some of them) that the community has established.
CT> Blue Book, I can see many flaws in the law. For example, a citizen has
CT> a right to a jury trial if an offense carries a penality of more than
CT> $50.00. How often do you think that this is granted in Tennessee?
I would say MOST of the time. Parking tickets, etc. excluded.
CT> Again I have enjoyed the "argument" as much as I did the ones in
CT> Philosophy and Classical issues , and Oral communications classes.
That would have been interesting, I'm sure.
Jim
