Hi All!
Teresa has just informed me that I am the new winner for this month's QBE.
I wanted to pick something easy so a 9-patch variation came to mind.
My ANSI drawing is not so good so if you could visualize 9 patches.
The corner patches are made up of 4-patches - and the others are
regular patches. I would like this pattern made up as a 12 1/2"
unfinished size with white background and blue (any shade is OK)
You will need to cut 3 white squares 4 1/2"
1 blue square 4 1/2"
8 white squares 2 1/2"
8 blue squares 2 1/2"
Use the 2 1/2" squares to make the 4-patches as follows:
---------------
l l l
l blue l whitel
---------------
l l l
l whitel blue l
---------------
When sewing up the 9-patch sew these 4-patches as the corner squares
a large blue square in the middle with large white squares elsewhere.
The block will look like a blue X on a white background.

Thanks in advance for blocks coming my way and have fun making this
simple block. Please advise me if your block is in the mail as I will
be drawing for the next winner the end of Mar. You could be the
next winner!
