The side benefit with the stove (primarily for warming up some water for
coffee) was that the main room temp climbed from 12C to almost 16C in about
1hr.

I have an old upright oak piano, never tuned for over 20 years and never played
(primarily by me) for as long.  Maybe easier to rip that apart for wood than to
try an move it out of the house.
