This stuff is the Wine of Life to me. The Goddess of (at least modern) Brittian is, of course, Brigantia. A Latinization of Britain -- as in Britannia rule the waves... Bridget has many faces in Celtic cultue, but according to the archeologists, her main ares are in Giodelic Celtic regions, and she is about fire, smithcraft and the healing arts. She has a day, Feb. 2, and was assumed into St. Bridget in early medieval times. I could go on -- but Glasonbury Tor is part of Old England f boththe Celtic peoples and the later Saxons. Imortant to history for a number of reasons. Nice to see Pagans in Britain getting organized to make a shrine. I'd like to visit someday.
