Not at all true if you have a dog or cat with medical issues needing a
special diet. All 3 of mine have grain issues. A bit of bread can result in
an ear infection here so we have to feed special. In fact, I am gently
moving towards raw feeding at least part of the time. I got a grinder able
to handle that for Xmas. So far, sausgaes is all we've made with it but it's
waiting to try a bunch of chicken necks and leg quarters. Tht mixed with
some beef hearts, pigs livers and such makes a pretty good method here.
I'll keep grain free cns and kibble about though as i don't think we are up
for the time it takes to fully raw feed.
I'll grant though that not all pets have diet issues so a decent store brand
is ok enough for dogs. Cats though may develop issues on it if kibble.
Spcifically, kidney and bladder issues.
