Oh! Even kewler!   I guess mine is a "basic" model. I've used my
MIL's once, it's a Singer. She helped my hubby pick out mine for
Christmas... it's a White Speedylock 1700. (whatever that means!) My MIL
says it's a nicer model than hers, that's all I know!
Sergers that have more feet and do more things??  Hmmm... sounds like a
good thing for the future if my sewing improves. I think it's so much
easier and more fun than my old Singer sewing machine. I'm sure I'd like
that beast more if it got a tune-up, it's never worked properly since I
bought it at Sears 10 years ago!
Ok, so how do I get started in the block exchange? (Heck, how do ya make
a block?! )
