Well, the last version to build realmode (16bits) Dos apps was BC 4.52 It can 
build 32bits protected (flat) mode progs as well, but then you need an 
additional package called Borland's Dos Power Pack, that sadly isn't sold 
anymore.
One could pester Borland about it, maybe there's still one left over on a 
forgotten shelf somewhere.
