subject: file format error

While writing to disk with an engraving tool, Phil went on about file format
error to David Chord
DC> My advice would be that you plan everything for multi-
DC> node when writing it, saves the hassle of re-designing
 PM> Oh...now someone tells me this. :)
:-) I learned it the hard way myself. A few months ago I was expecting to be
able to go multinode within a fwe weeks, and I had a lot of fun re-designing
the system and bug-testing it all to work :-)
PM> Actually, I don't expect to go multi-node for quite some time. I
PM> want to see if there's enough support first, then I'll consider it.
I was expecting to go multinode within a few months of opening, then found
out what a stingy pack of (insert foul expletive) the local BBS users are :-(
Cya...
