I, personally, have not dove with Blackbeard's, however
I have crawled all over their boats when they're in the
docks in Miami.  My opinion is that they offer a good
value for the money -- BUT the quarters are quite cramped.
For about the same money, you might want to try contacting
Kirk Schanze at Sea Safaris (1-800-558-SAIL).  Kirk's boats
are docked just a few slips away from Blackbeard's, and he
offers both sailboats and motorized dive trawlers.  He charters
the boats to dive groups, and usually has spaces available.
Kirk is the guy that put together the Bahamas trip that Margie
Nahas, Carl Wilson and I took last October.  We're going back
out with him at least once in '97.
