That's one thing I've not been too successful with - an HT... All
the repeaters are just too far away.

If the band opens, I can use one with an external antenna to hit
ONE of the repeaters, but that's it. With my mobile, though, I can
hit a long way off!

Oh yeah - and I use that to program in repeaters for areas I'm going
to be traveling throuh too.

I don't have a way of using a computer with radio right now.
