No, I had to keep my mind on driving straight up and down the Lockwall
because the Lockwall was narrow and there were Guard Rails on each side I
had to keep from hitting, and going in the Lock Chamber and landing on top
of a Barge OR if I went through the other Guard Rail I would fall 15 Feet
down on to Concrete.   OUCH either way.

In the winter, after some Snow had been removed from the Lockwall, the next
day some of the wetness would freeze over and really make driving VERY
INTERESTING after the Sun went down that evening.

If a Towboat called on the Radio, I would stop and pick up the handi-talkie
to answer them.
