Right-click on an empty part of the bar, then select Properties (I think). 
All kinds of options there ...
(Yuck, I wish: 1. that M$ gave me the option to use easily switchable English 
and Dutch terms for anything -- I wouldn't have to guess at the correct 
translation, 2. That Win'95 wasn't so humongous. I've no space to install it 
om my home system ...)

I've _three_ of those bars; two of which move 'off-screen' when I'm not
looking, then popping up at inconvenient times ...
I'm keeping them for the moment, they just might become useful after I'm used 
to them.
