No, actually, if I recall correctly, I believe the University matches
all outside donations with funds of their own. If you want to drop Dr.
Ritchie a letter, he'd be glad to explain how his funding works. I DID
have notes on it a couple years ago, but it was in with my club
treasurer stuff, and it's in someone else's hands now (probably tossed
out as non-essential).
Since there's been a lot of trouble with folks mis-quoting Dr. Ritchie
on the Internet, I'm encouraging anyone who has a NON-emergency question
to write to him instead of calling. That way they have a written
document with a signature to quote from instead of trying to remember
"just what did he say about this".
