Hello Trev!
I was a Opus Sysop from the start. beta tester for 1.73
I am now using a 486-80, Dos 6.22 with Desqview and Qemm, 16 mg,
Binkley 2.60, Squish and Max 2.01. Starting to go to Windows 95+
      133 clone 40 mg
I will definitely look at a new Opus, but! The Mex programing
language with Max is hard to top. I have stumbled through and
completed a few Max add on's with it.
Good Luck! With a good TEAM a new Opus should be a big success.
IMO, Opus died because of a EGO problem that would not let the
      program develop.
Instead og going for very tight code, I think a modulator design
that could be updated a piece at a time would work better with
      many different programers.
Opus had something going for it, many exsysops still read the echo.
Regards, Gerry
