Hi Sara!

SG> I found a great use for large unmounted stamps and computer supplies

SG> mounted that on a spare AOL disk (one of the thousands they send in the
SG> mail all the time. The stamp works like a charm.
That will teach them to expect *you* to get
online with them! We call them "America offline!" hehe
That sounds like a wonderful use for both those items,
and it will keep you stamping. Off the streets and out
of the pool halls, huh?
Do you remember Dorothy (Dot) Ferris who used to post on
here? She got on IRC chat with a group of us and Julia
Sidebottom, Sandy Colby and I got her interested in rsing.
Now she has her own online web page with mail order rs
supplies, and is stamping her art out!
She's still stocking her business and working on her
page, but she's having so much fun and has subscribed
to a rsing mail list. We've created a monster!
She lost her Fido feed and telnetting wasn't working out
for her, but she's still chatting with us on the Internet
and I'm so thrilled, because last week she told me she
was coming to see me in April, and staying for 3 weeks.
And she talked about the luggage she was bringing: one
small carryon bag for toiletries and a few clothes, and
TWO footlockers full of stamping supplies, so we can have
fun while she's here!
I think she's exaggerating a bit, but I'm not going to
count on it. I'm busy clearing out spaces to put those
2 footlockers. hehehe...
We are going to have a blast...
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
