It lasted about 24 hours. Other regions had it worse (up to 3  
or 4 days without electric power). A few people operate  
generators.

A neighbour about 1km away offered some dry wood for my stove.  
Meanwhile, I scrounged up a few pieces of wood from my  
property as well - for next time.
