-> -> WC> "The Exorcist" movies. -> -> Also Stephen King's "Salem's Lot" IIRC and several other King works. -> WC> Think I saw that one though not at all a Stephen King fan, likely -> WC> because I grew in the town nest to Salam MA.. -> Ah. Too close for comfot? :) Not really, never believed in the supernatural. Though one Marblehead ( my home town) resident was hung in the Salem Witch Trials. -> _ -> I don't remember it very well... just a lot of the lime green. -> Remember it was during when lime green lights were hot special -> effets. You can never get that brilliant lime green out of your system. -> There is always implication 'supernatural' are actually E.T's but for -> some reason I can't understand there are religionists who deny this. -> Then what are they? But perhaps- figments of human imagination? Or -> mis perceptions of totally reality based phenomena? -> .......... -> -> What exactly was the small, round faced, be speckled little old lady -> -> who 'helped out' in "Poltergeist" (SP)? -> WC> Never seen any of those either. -> It was about a house built upon an Ancient Indian Burial Mound. -> It became Posessed. In this case perhaps the woman was a present -> day member of that Ancient People. (Note sociologists do not refer to -> ancient peoples as tribes anymore. I find this agreeable.) -> WC> As I said to Dan I'm not a fan of this genre. -> Now and then I like a good spooky book or move though. :) Do -> remember, I'm stuck in Texas. Can't complain about the mild winter we -> are having but sometimes oooooooooooh sometimes, the boring dull -> endless flat and currently dull/dormant wintertime (happily snowless) -> landscape gets to me. What with me having been spoiled rotten living in -> ever lush, beachful... (okay mosquitos and humidity)-Florida for four years -> you know can possibly perceive what I mean. It's a very _chilly_ 60 degrees today But no worries, back up to 71 tomorrow and Monday. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
