My folks moved to Fall River Mills because of the dry climate (it's not
just Arizona -- Denver, for example, is VERY dry, though you have to deal
with the altitude; FRM was 3500 feet up in Eastern Shasta County (CA),
but there's not much work there).
Anyway, it's an Adjustment any time you move, but Arizona's not a bad
place to be -- not QUITE as Desolate (though anything is Desolate after
the Pacific NorthWet) as some deserts -- say, most of Nevada..... 

Lots of new building going up in the Suprise/Sun City/Peoria area to the
West of Phoenix.... probably all around the Phoenix metro, but I'm only
acquainted with the Surprise area.  But, again, it all hinges on the
work, doesn't it?
