SE>Isn't that carrying the whole "warm water" thing a bit
SE>too far, Stan? :-)
SE>Actually the last time I dove the Florida Springs my buddy
SE>and I tried something similar. Neither of us were coffee
SE>drinkers so we used the in-room coffee-maker to heat up
SE>some water which we then poured into a large Hefty trashbag
SE>which contained our wetsuits. Imagine the looks we got
SE>from the other divers when we popped the trunk on my car
SE>and pulled out a plastic bag full of nice, steaming-hot
SE>wetsuits.
SE>That still ranks as one of my favorite dive stories! :)
I can usually handle the springs, 72 degrees but 10 degrees less has a
real chill to it.
We went out again Sat the first and used your theory by pre heating our
wet suits. It did take some of the shock out of that water invasion on
my private parts, but after 40 minutes the first dive and only making
thirty minutes the second, 61 degrees may be to cold for diving.
