Because he doesn't live anywhere near me? As much as I've wanted to do that in
the past due to nonexistant NCs in damn near entire nets fed by me.. no one
above me will ever grant that kind of permission, as it will kill off nets and
make the nodelist segment look smaller (OH NO!). :)

I don't know if the nodelist entry had anything to do with him. If his system
isn't up 24x7, it shouldn't be labeled CM, that's for sure. However, he and his
NC will discuss the options available to him and make their best decision based
on that.

Thanks for your insight. And while opinions are like assholes, I don't have
anything to do with his nodelist entry. I was only letting people know that
he's still around, and polls my system when he wants to pick up mail. He just
started doing this again with his NC as of yesterday or today.. so they'll
figure something out that works for the both of them.
